About Us
Hello! We are Josh and Amber Halversen, a family-based dog breeder located in Southern (Thatcher) Arizona. Our dogs are raised in our home and are deeply woven into our daily lives — not kept in kennels or separate facilities. We currently breed miniature Goldendoodles, miniature English Goldendoodles, Cava Poo and Shih Poo puppies, each chosen for their temperament, health, and suitability as loving family companions.
From just a few days old, our puppies receive Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and gentle, consistent socialization. They are raised in our living room, surrounded by the everyday sights and sounds of a household — vacuums, doors, voices, and activity — which helps them grow into confident, well-adjusted dogs.
Our parent dogs are genetically health tested through Embark and Wisdom and receive regular veterinary care, daily exercise, and balanced nutrition. They are beloved members of our family, and we intentionally select breeding dogs with exceptional temperaments, knowing that these qualities are passed on to their puppies.
We are proud to be a zero-pressure breeder. We welcome FaceTime or Zoom calls, questions, and thoughtful conversations, and we will never rush or pressure a family into a decision. We believe the best forever homes are formed naturally — when expectations are clear and hearts are fully confident.
As our puppies grow, they are gradually transitioned to a structured pen environment that simulates a large crate and includes access to a dog door. This helps make crate training and house training easier once they go home. Many of our families tell us how smoothly their puppies adjust — something we value deeply.

Their vaccination record
A blanket that smells like their littermates
A small bag of food
And, most importantly, a heart full of love
Our puppies are thoughtfully prepared for life beyond our home, with early routines that support a smooth transition into family living. We love staying connected with our puppy families and truly cherish the photos, updates, and stories shared as our dogs grow and thrive.
Raising puppies is not just what we do — it is something we care deeply about, and we are honored to play a small part in bringing so much joy into the families we work with.
